The art criticism process has four steps to it. The first step it 1.Describe: tell exactly what you see. 2.Analyze: use the elements/ principles to reflect. 3.Interpret: consider the following what is the artist trying to say. 4.Evaluate: how successful is the work of art. Describe:For my still life project I used watercolor and acrylic paint it made a good combination. I took four main things that I use on a daily basis the took pictures from many different angles the I looked at all the pictures and took 3 the looked better and used one of those pictures to draw out exactly what I saw. Analyze:The principles that I used for this project was the proportion and variety for the elements that I used. The size was different for all four objects. The variety was four unlike objects. The elements that I used for the background was blue and purple colors. For the objects I used the acrylic colors was light blue for the glass vase, purple for the body mist, and black, pink, and green for the cactus. Interpret:What I'm trying to say in the portrait is the the that most describe me. Evaluate:How successful do I think this art work was it was pretty good but I would change a few thing like the colors and the background colors. What is art?Art to me is a way to express your self or feelings on how or what you like. It can also be a fun activity for many kids and adults. And a way to draw out your imagination and inspirations that you may get or have by looking at something. It's also a way to relax and have a fun quiet time to yourself. Is copying always plagiarism or is there a very area? Explain your thoughts.I don't think copying is always plagiarism in art because you can get ideas or inspiration for a picture or drawing you may see on the internet. But not always can you just copy what you see not draw exactly what you see change things up a bit the the colors the theam of the drawing. But many times it can be plagiarism. What is a technique you used in your artwork that worked well? Explain what technique it was and why it was successful.the technique I fell like worked with really well was oil pastels because the colors can easily be mixed up and combine really well. And where easy to blend and draw with. It was successful because it helped me in a lot of art projects that I had to blend colors it is very different from paint, color pencils, and many other art techniques that are used to draw and paint.

I choosed to do a peacock for my project. I did a paper sculpture for it I choosed this project because I thought it would be fun to do a paper sculpture. I first decided to draw out what I was going to do then what materials i was going to use to make it. So I used construction paper. I rolled the paper and glued it to the black background. I didn't finish it but it still came out good. I feel the most successful thing about this project was the rolled up paper. I would change the colors of the peacock.
the inspired artist I choosed was Noreen Lon hui miun she worked with different materials she focuses more on real and fictional plant designs. She got inspired by Dr. Seuss. What inspires me about her art is how detailed it is she uses one or two colors in her piece and how she puts a glass top on is to it can look real. And how she only uses plants as her main design.
The medium I used was for this picture was color pencil and magazine paper. I first traced the picture and the added details and the started coloring and then put magazine paper for the background. The portrait shows my brother and cousin. I picked them because they are the smallest of the family.
Riley G. She is drawing her nephew the medium she is using is newspaper and watercolor and pencil. She's heading towards finishing the peice and adding more color to it
For my clay sculpture project I did a sgraffito tray. How I created this tray or plate was by clay I sculpted it out using a plastic plat at first it was pretty hard but than got the hand of it. What inspired me to make this piece was one of the plates in my house I saw so I decided to do a feather plate. What I think was most successful about my plate was the glazing and the colors. What I might change about my plate would be the shape because the edges weren't that round and I thing it would look better on another shape. Yes, I would sign up for sculpture class.
For my printmaking art project I did feathers and a two dandelion flowers. The steps to this project were pretty easy. I first had to think of what I was going to do because the theam was lines. Then I sketched out the drawing and traced it onto a screen printing block after than I colored black to see what I was going to cut out and leave white. And then I put black printing paint and got a pice of paper to put on top so the picture would print and it came out good. I incorporated the theam lines into the picture by the feathers and some on the dandelion flowers. I did more successful on the feathers. If I were to do it again I will add more detail to the feathers and flowers.
The idea of our installation was using the word love. We outlined the word love with tape and then we build 3D hearts to put on the wall we made big and small hearts and then we put hearts on the word love. I think the installation was successful in putting and making the hearts it turned out good. The one thing I would change about this project would have to be put more details on the installation.
This place is really important to me because my family and I always go here for the summer and to visit family members. What I found most successful about this painting will have to. The water because it was the easiest and the thing i would have change will have to be make more bigger trees and lighter colors. The medium I used was watercolor because it was easier to mix up the colors and blend them in.
For my still life project I did a glass vase with jewelry in it and a perfume, and a cactus. Well the glass vase represents me as a kind of important way because all the jewelry i have is what I have gotten for my family members. The perfume I don't know how it represents me but it's something I use on a daily basis. And the cactus is a plant I have had for a long time and it has never gotten old. The thing I found most successful in this painting has to be the drawings because the colors came out good and the thing I would change will have to be the background colors. For the medium I chosed is acrylic because I found it easier for me.
