Question #2
To me i think that over this semester i grow a lot in many areas for example in painting because i was very bad a that and now when i look at my weebly page i see not that big of a difference but somewhat. In the first picture it is an assignment we did in the first two weeks of the beginning of the semester i didn't know how to blend in the colors with prisma at first but then we started to do many little practices and i felt like i got better over time. In the second picture it was in the middle of the semester i can see a change. One of the many things that i was taught to do to improve in my paintings was to add the lightest colors first and then add a bit of dark to make it darker. I think the one thing that helped me the most was when we did the value charts. We only used the three primary colors to do this self portrait project and i was able to blend out everything very smoothly and make the hair actually look black and the skin tone came out okay but i would have just blended it more. I was able to see how not to over blend and also how to know when to not add too much layers of colors. Because of the value shapes we did.

Question #4
Two lessons I felt like were the most beneficial for this project had to be the value charts we did throughout the year and the color wheel. Because I think that if we would have never done that it would have not come out great for my chosen artist project. And for the clay one we did too I think the instructions that were given to use on how to do these mini lessons were enough but I would have wanted more things that would have taught me more on how to blend the colors much better and on how I could have make good shadows and how to make my painting pop out more. But overall I feel like yes it was enough for the little projects we did.

Question #7
One project felt I was the least successful over the semester was the self portrait project. Because my drawing came out to flat and it did not pop out a lot and the skin color was to yellow. I would have also have liked for it to almost look like me. If I had to do something different for this project I think I would not change the photo but I would re-do everything especially the mouth and the hair well the face cuz I don’t know what was going on because that portrait came out looking pretty crooked.

Question #6
The medium I felt that I was the most successful in working with and it was very beneficial to me had to be the acrylic paint. Because when we did the project for the Clay it was pretty easy to blend out colors and like you could re-paint over it and like if you messed up you were able to go back to it. And well technically I had like two mediums that I like the most throughout the semester. And that was also prisma color pencils because I think that prismas are easy to work with. Even though I would have liked to learn more about acrylic paint and on how to be better at it.
